Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Block Receipt (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and by any policies referenced in them. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not access or use the Service.

Overview of the Service

Block Receipt reads publicly available blockchain data and presents it as a clean, human-readable receipt. The Service is provided for informational convenience only. It does not create, sign, custody, broker, or settle any transaction on your behalf, and it does not move or hold any funds or digital assets.

Eligibility

You must be able to form a legally binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Service. By using Block Receipt, you represent that you meet this requirement and that your use of the Service complies with all laws and regulations that apply to you.

Fees

The Service is currently provided free of charge. If we introduce fees for any part of the Service in the future, we will make that clear before you incur them.

Changes to the Service

We are continually improving the Service and may add, change, suspend, or remove features at any time without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service or any part of it.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You will not attempt to disrupt or overload the Service, probe or circumvent its security, access it through automated means in a way that places an unreasonable load on our systems, or use it to infringe the rights of others or to carry out any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activity.

No Financial, Legal, or Tax Advice

Block Receipt provides information about on-chain activity and nothing more. Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, accounting, legal, or tax advice, and no receipt generated by the Service should be relied upon as a substitute for professional advice. You are solely responsible for how you use the information the Service provides.

Accuracy of Blockchain Data

Receipts are compiled from public blockchain data and third-party data sources. Blockchain networks and those sources may be incomplete, delayed, reorganized, or otherwise inaccurate, and we do not independently verify them. We do not warrant that any receipt is accurate, complete, current, or suitable for accounting, tax, legal, or any other purpose.

Third-Party Services and Links

The Service may rely on, link to, or interoperate with third-party networks, data providers, and websites that we do not control. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, content, or practices of any third party, and your use of any third-party service is governed by that party’s own terms and policies.

Intellectual Property

The Block Receipt name, logo, interface, and original content are owned by Block Receipt and its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The underlying blockchain data is public and is not owned by Block Receipt. You may use receipts you generate for your own lawful purposes, but you may not copy, resell, or otherwise exploit the Service itself without our prior written permission.

Privacy

Our handling of information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood how we handle information as set out in that policy.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Block Receipt and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Block Receipt and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these terms or if we need to protect the Service or its users. The sections of these terms that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Block Receipt is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The governing jurisdiction will be confirmed in the final version of these terms.

Dispute Resolution

Before bringing any formal claim, you agree to first contact us and attempt to resolve the matter informally. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled in accordance with the dispute-resolution process and venue set out for our governing jurisdiction, which will be confirmed in the final version of these terms.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above, and your continued use of the Service after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Assignment

We may assign or transfer these terms, in whole or in part, in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, or by operation of law. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these terms without our prior written consent.

Entire Agreement

These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies we reference, make up the entire agreement between you and Block Receipt regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements on that subject.
